The Pineville Porcupines are in search of excellent host families to house our players to play collegiate summer wood bat baseball in Pineville. Host families are a crucial part of any successful summer collegiate baseball program. Players come from all corners of North Carolina and The United States to provide fans with exciting, competitive, fun, and family friendly wood bat baseball, while gaining additional experience critical in their goal to play professionally one day.
Being a host family is typically a very rewarding experience! It is common for players to build bonds with their host family.
Host families will receive the following benefits of:
- Season tickets for the entire host family to each Porcupine home game
- Merchandise benefits
- The experience of living with a college baseball player for young athletes in the house
- Knowing you are giving a player a chance to develop his craft in baseball right here in Pineville!
Being a host family is an important responsibility. Host families are entrusted by both the team as well as the players' family. Host families are asked to provide a safe, comfortable, and clean environment. All players are held to high moral standards and are expected to follow the host family's rules and guidelines. It is not a requirement that host families provide meals, but it is always appreciated. Host families are not required to provide transportation or money to players.
If you'd like to become a host family, or simply would like to learn more, please feel free to complete the form below and a team representative will be in touch soon!
Thank you!
