Positions

Being an Intern is an integral part of our team and is how we are able to do what we do! The Porcupines have a "learn-by-experience" approach to our internships, and want you to grow, succeed, and spread your wings! With the Porcupines you will learn all about the different aspects of your department, and we provide an environment to let your creativity soar!

As a Porcupine Intern you will be able to take on specific tasks, projects, and take responsibility for them yourself! It isn't easy, but it will be worth it! We want interns to challenge themselves in their department, to cultivate the best experience that we can give our fans and our community! The majority of Internships will be In-Person in Pineville, NC.

BROADCASTING

As an announcer, you will be filling one of two positions: either our in-stadium PA announcing or our play-by-play announcing for our livestream. Our livestream announcing position is offered as either a remote position or a physical in-person position.

CROWD ENGAGEMENT 

Come and be the voice of the Porcs this summer! We are looking for a high-energy, outgoing intern to stand out among the crowd and keep the fans in the game. This position entails directing all our in-game special events and activities that help us deliver a memorable experience to fans every time!

MERCHANDISE/TICKETING

This position will interact directly with fans selling merchandise, handling ticket sales and entry at the front gate, and managing inventory for our merchandise purchases. Refine your communication skills and work directly with the fans to enhance our gameday experience!

STATISTICS/DATA ANALYTICS

You will work to track and store our game statistics for use by players and coaches and begin to garner real-world experience in sports data science!
