Pineville Porcupines Enhance Ownership Group with Addition of Eddie Hull
Hull Appointed as Managing Partner to Lead Franchise Forward
PINEVILLE, North Carolina, Jan. 25, 2026 — The Pineville Porcupines today announced local baseball leader, Eddie Hull, as Managing Partner. Owned by Texas native Rick Bailey, The Porcupines aim to grow their program this year through an expanded ownership group and top local talent to round out the Porcupines staff.
Bailey recently announced the building of his second team, a Galveston, TX-based team in the Cowboy Collegiate League. “I’m thrilled to have Eddie join us as Managing Partner. He’s a great guy with a solid baseball background in the Charlotte area,” Bailey said. “Eddie is a pillar of the community and his local presence will help grow our team to the next level. We’re chasing a championship this year, and Eddie can help get us there.”
Hull, a Charlotte native, has been involved in baseball programs of all stages in the Charlotte area. As a player, Hull was a standout on the field during his high school years at Charlotte Catholic High School. In his collegiate years, Hull played for the Charlotte 49ers and spent three summers playing for the Carolina Vipers in the Southern Collegiate Baseball League and one for the Gastonia Grizzlies of the Coastal Plain League.
In his professional career, Hull spent two years coaching collegiately at Queens University of Charlotte. Since 2017, he has coached baseball and done lessons throughout the Charlotte area as owner of Eddie Hull Baseball Camps, LLC.
He currently serves as the Director of Athletics at Holy Trinity Catholic Middle School and Head Baseball Coach of his alma mater, Charlotte Catholic, which also plays its home games at Jack Hughes Park.
“I couldn’t be more excited to be involved with the Porcupines moving forward,” said Hull. “Pineville has become a second home to me, and I am excited to play a small part in bringing quality summer college baseball to the town.”
The Porcupines will be back in action this May, entering their sixth season. With a new operations team, expanded ownership group, and fresh talent joining the roster, The Porcupines’ mission to develop athletes while spreading autism awareness has gained some local roots.
